In the past few months I have been quietly working away on various commissions and now they’re coming to an end I decided to do something for fun. Well not fun exactly, as I was quite nervous going into a my first life drawing class in many years. Despite the nerves of going into a group that I had not been with before, I went anyway and was delighted I did. There were a few short poses and then a long pose. I wasn’t to skilled with the short poses as my shoulder is giving me trouble. The short poses were for limbering up. But the longer pose was just perfect for me. It was great to get reminders of how to measure up and how to check progress. Tadgh McGrath at Block T studios was the tutor and his prompts were great to get me back into life drawing as I went along. Measuring and use of materials were all prompted for and I tried out several of the materials suggested. Looking forward to next one.
